I have an exam tomorrow, and the teacher tried to explain the function of the grammar point に通して by using a paper towel roll and placing an electrical chord through it....よく分からない！ An example sentence would be 山田さんに通していいアルバイトを見つけた。However, I am looking for more complicated sentences to better understand its meaning. I suppose your teacher was trying to show the concept of something going "through" something else. So in your example sentence: "through Yamada-san, you found a good part-time job." Hi, I don't think your teacher gave you right examples, it should be ‘-を通して’ instead of ‘-に通して’. Only the possibility when the latter is used is like this way; 山田さんに話を通して、いいアルバイトを見つけてもらった。 or 山田さんを客室に通した。 Here are some examples I made for you; 大学の学生課を通して仕事を紹介してもらった。 山田さんを通して田中さんに謝罪の気持ちを伝えてもらった。 曇りガラスを通して光が入ってきた。 １年間を通して雨が全く降らなかった。 夜を通して雨が降り続いた。 I hope this will help you. |
