You may notice this expression as one of the rude way to show speakers disagreement to the previous comment or something like that. 'つーの’ came from 'というの', and deliberately change the pronunciation to rather broken way to show your disdain and push away other's opinion.

In addition to my previous post I have a feeling that this kind of expression is used only on the net and not used in real conversation. This pretentious attitude can be an interesting example of psychological regression of people on the net.

I was just chatting with a Japanese friend who used this expression.

I sent him a video, that wasn't exactly safe for work.

He replied, 仕事中だっつの

Which means, "Geeeez I'm at work for christ's sake!"
